How does the system work?
Sales Proposal Architect is very easy to use. It uses an interactive dialogue to present proposal design items for the five main proposal sections and the title page. Each design items allows you to select a response from a list of items or enter information that is unique to your sales situation. For example, the design item to choose a title for proposal Section 1 offers five or six options or allows you to enter a unique title.

Each design item has content and design help available through the system’s Comments and Suggestions screens.

To write a proposal, you simply go through the design items for each of the five sections and the title page. You can preview each section at any time. When you are done, you simply click on the Generate Word Document icon and the system opens Microsoft Word and generates a fully formatted proposal.
How long will it take to design a proposal using the system?

Most users spend about two to three hours to generate their first proposal. The system will help you make some key proposal design decisions. It requires detailed information and knowledge about your prospect and your proposed product or service.

How many pages are in a generated proposal?
Proposal length varies from user to user. You should expect to generate a 10–14 page proposal. The Title Page, Table of Contents, and Executive Summary typically add 4–5 pages. Sales Proposal Architect also allows you to add Appendices to you proposal.

How complete is a proposal generated by the system?
Your proposal should be 85–90% complete. You will need to add some finishing touches such as adding pictures or graphics, writing the Executive Summary, and finishing several subsections that can only be partially completed by the system. The more detail you enter in the design items the more complete the generated proposal.

How do I know if Sales Proposal Architect will work for my company and my sales proposals?

Bob Kantin, a principal of SalesProposals.com, developed and refined the five-section proposal model over the last 6–7 years . All types of companies ranging from software vendors to public accounting firms have successfully used this model. Actually, the system presents different design items if you are selling a product or a service. Sales Proposal Architect follows the design guidelines presented in Bob's new book, Sales Proposals Kit for Dummies.
